Kids are an important part of our church. We take seriously our pledge to raise these covenant children in their walk with the Lord, and to reach out to those around us.
There is a wide variety of opportunities for kids to be involved here at Lakeview. On Sunday mornings we have a nursery for those under 2 years old and Sunday School for 2 years through adults.
Other highlights during the year for kids are monthly Chris and Critters gatherings (for elementary-age kids), Vacation Bible School (typically held the last week of July), Harvest Party (at the end of October), the Christmas program, and a communicant's class for children wishing to join our church.
We have lots of opportunities for families including monthly covered dish dinners and on Sunday afternoon (summer), or evenings (during the school year), where kids and adults have a chance to get together and worship through song.
